Summer 2025 Family Fun Across South Tyneside

2nd July 2025 By kmcvittie

Looking for exciting, free activities to keep your little ones entertained this summer? South Tyneside Family Hubs are here to help! Across Bede, Biddick Hall, Boldon, Hebburn, Jarrow, Primrose, Horsley Hill, Ridgeway, Whitburn, and Marsden, our Family Hubs are offering six weeks of themed fun for children aged 0–8 (and beyond!).

Each week brings a new adventure—from Teddy Bears’ Picnics and Under the Sea sensory play, to Bug Hunts, Circus fun, Creative crafts, and Pirate treasure hunts. There are also SEND-friendly sessions, youth groups, baby clinics, and support for parents and carers, including breastfeeding groups and the DadPad app.

Expect messy play, music, storytelling, outdoor adventures, and science fun—all designed to support your child’s development while making magical summer memories.

Activities run from July through August, and spaces fill up fast—so be sure to book early with your local Family Hub!
