Panathlon Silver Success!

17th January 2024 By bmcvittie

Our brilliant new Panathlon squad were amazing today as they won District silver medals; they finished in a highly impressive second place in their first Competition!

The team worked together in a number of sporting challenges including: New Age Kurling, Boccia Blast, Slam Dunk, Flight Path, Ten Pin Topple, Bean Bag Throw and Parachute Popcorn.

Our children showed a lot of skill and supported each other wonderfully throughout the event.  They fully deserved their success today and I was so proud of everyone! Thank you also to our fantastic parent helpers.

SEND Survey

30th March 2023 By nicolamackley

Please see information below regarding a SEND survey for parents of children with Autism.

Autism and Parental Blame Survey

Understanding families’ experience of parental blame when they approach health, education, and care services for support.

What this project is about

This research study seeks to understand how parents of autistic children experience parental blame when they approach health, education, and care services for support.
This survey is part of the wider Autism and Parental Blame research project, led by ADASS West Midlands in collaboration with the University of Birmingham and commissioned by NHS England (Midlands Region).

Why?

Working together with families we will identify common concerns and themes and make recommendations for changes to practice that will ensure families feel heard and understood when they look for help.

Take part in the survey – open until 01st May 2023
