This morning the children performed a wonderful Liturgy for families to celebrate Easter. The children spoke, sang and danced so beautifully. As always, we are so proud of the children!
Y1 Liturgy
Year 1 invited their families to join them for their Eucharist Liturgy. The children read and sung beautifully and told us about the special meals they have shared with their families and friends.
Y3 Liturgy- Journeys
Y3 celebrated their Journeys Liturgy with their families today. The children shared their own personal journeys and interests; while thoughtfully acknowledging the people that support them along the way. Y3 read and sung beautifully as we all shared a lovely community spiritual experience.
Year 2 Class Liturgy
Last week Year 2 took part in their first Class Liturgy. They thoroughly enjoyed planning this Liturgy all about ‘Books’ and sharing it with their parents. They all read and sang beautifully!

Year 5 Class Liturgy
Well done to all the children in Year 5 for taking part in our Class Liturgy on Hope. You all read and sang beautifully.
Y4 Class Liturgy
In RE, Year 4 have been learning about Reconciliation. Some of the children have been preparing for their First Reconciliation. The Sacrament of Reconciliation celebrates the fact that we are loved and forgiven by God and that when we say sorry to one another and experience forgiveness we are experiencing God’s forgiveness.
We all know that God loves us and is always ready to forgive us, no matter what. His love for us is unconditional. The children wanted to share this unconditional love and friendship with their families and friends in our ‘Lost Sheep’ Reconciliation Liturgy.

Carol Concerts
Here are the links to the children’s Carol Concert recordings, it is a shame parents could not be with us again this year, but we hope you enjoy our songs and poem and they bring a little festive cheer into your homes. From everyone at St. Bede’s we would like to wish our whole school community a very Merry Christmas!
T’was the night before Christmas – Narrators from all year groups.
May Procession
The Mini Vinnies made some lovely flowers for the May Procession at St Bede’s Church and they were joined at mass today by children making their First Holy Communion as well as children from St Bede’s Children’s Liturgy group.
They processed into church carrying their flowers and placed them around the feet of Mary in celebration of Our Lady.
