Y3 Archaeologists in Durham!

25th September 2023 By bmcvittie

Our Y3 mini archaeologists enjoyed an interesting Stone-Bronze Age day at Durham’s Museum of Archaeology! We learned about the chronology of Prehistory and analysed an exciting range of ancient artefacts. The children completed an exciting gallery trail and also considered what we could deduce from the bones of a skeleton. Y3 conducted themselves superbly throughout the visit and even took in some of the sites of a picturesque Durham.

Y1/2 Summer Sport & Well Being Club!

5th August 2023 By bmcvittie

Well done to our Y1 & Y2 who were all brilliant in our summer sport & well being club, despite the wet weather. Wherever possible, we got outside to enjoy a wide variety of games, and whenever we were forced back inside the children were equally positive enjoying indoor activities. I’m sure the club will help many of our children in their transition to the juniors, while it was wonderful fun teaching our talented children. I hope you all have a great summer with your families and enjoy continuing to get active!
