On Thursday, Year 6 performed their end of year leavers’ production of “I’m an 11 Year Old, Get Me Out Of Here!”
The children worked very hard to learn their lines, the songs, dances and stage directions. They did a morning and an afternoon performance and I am very proud to say both of their performances were outstanding.
For those of you that attended, I think you will all agree that the production was excellent and very funny!
I would like to thank Mr Richardson for his amazing piano skills, our children in years 4 and 5 who made up our amazing choir, Mrs Hill for practicing the songs with the choir for weeks on end, Mrs Molenda who was in charge of adding the sound effects throughout the play, Mr Maratty for his exceptional artistic skills creating the stage sign and for helping backstage and Mrs Wilson for all her hours of hard work with the endless practices, creating dances, organising props and costumes and ensuring the children were ready back stage for their scenes!
And lastly, I would like to thank the parents and adults who unknowingly were going to take part in the Grammar challenge on stage and having various items tipped over their heads! You were all a great sport and I appreciate your braveness! Thank you!
