School Council Meeting 13th November 2023
It was lovely to welcome our new school councillors to their first meeting of the year. They had a very important job to do of picking new books for the school library using the reward points we received from the Book Fair. The children thoroughly enjoyed browsing the Scholastic website and picked a range of books from Harry Potter to Peppa Pig at Christmas. I’m sure that all of the children in school will appreciate and enjoy a new exciting range of books to choose from at reading time.

Reception Visit Marine Park
Reception had a fantastic time at Marine Park this morning! They had great fun playing on the park, playing with skips and balls on the field and building fairy gardens in the woodland area. The children then enjoyed a delicious ice cream to cool down and got to ride on the park train. What a busy morning! Next, it was the highlight of the day – lunch! Reception enjoyed a lovely lunch in the park with their friends before heading back to school. The children were beautifully behaved and made all of the staff incredibly proud.
I would like to say a big thank you to our wonderful parent helpers and a HUGE thank you to Smith’s Seaview Cafe for very kindly supplying the children’s ice creams free of charge.
