Dear Parents and Carers,
We are delighted to welcome you to St. Bede’s RC Primary and Nursery School and thank you for choosing our lovely school as the setting for your child’s educational journey. Your child’s first experience of school is a very important one and we recognise that settling into school is a huge step for both you and your child. This year has been unprecedented and therefore our transition process will be quite different to previous years. Currently, we are still not clear about when and how we will return to school in September but please be reassured that we will communicate with you at each stage so that you can prepare both yourselves and your child for their start to school. We anticipate that the children may need a slightly different approach to starting school, but we will endeavour to make it the best experience possible.
We look forward to working with you to make your child’s transition into school as smooth as possible.
Best wishes,
Miss Dixon and Mrs Hill
A message for the children
Hello children, just a little message to say how much we are looking forward to seeing you in September. We’re sad that you won’t be able to come for a visit beforehand but don’t worry I’ve put lots of photographs of your new classroom and a photo of Mrs Hill and I in the pack that was sent home. I hope you’re excited as we are – we’re going to have lots of fun!
Miss Dixon and Mrs Hill
