Our wonderful Reading Ambassadors led an assembly this week to tell their peers all about our sponsored Readathon, which is live now! You can see them in action in the photos below.
Sponsor cards have been sent home this week, so please keep an eye out for them. We will be accepting sponsorship online until Friday 6th March.
Reading for pleasure has proven benefits for children’s success and wellbeing, and Read for Good’s approach motivates all readers – reluctant or keen – to enjoy reading simply for fun. Children can read anything they like: books, comics, e‑books, poetry, blogs or audiobooks. Being read to by others counts too!
By taking part, pupils help to provide brand‑new books and storytellers for children in UK hospitals, and our school can receive free books worth 20% of the total sponsorship raised.
How parents can support:

Encourage your child to read whatever they enjoy. Sharing books or listening to audiobooks also counts.
