Last week, children across the school celebrated National Storytelling Week during their House Meetings. Our fantastic Reading Ambassadors introduced the importance and joy of storytelling during their assembly earlier in the week. On Friday, pupils marked the occasion by exploring what storytelling is, why it matters, and the many different ways we can share stories. They even joined in with a story by rapping the words and using Makaton to bring it to life. To finish, children designed their own imaginative story characters and shared their ideas with their friends.
