Y3 have enjoyed their recent festivities including a Christmas Tree Quiz, designing cards/baubles, parties and many more activities. The children have also continued to work hard this term and achieve many certificates.

We hope you enjoy St. Bede’s School’s virtual Christmas Concert 2020! Many thanks to Mr. Hogan (Y5 and Y2 parent) for giving his time and expertise to record and produce these videos for our families.
Y3 have shown a lot of maturity to quickly settle into the juniors this half term. They have produced lots of outstanding work in all subject areas; Miss Moffett and I are extremely proud of their efforts and consistently good attitude.
Below is some very useful information about the learning procedures in Y3. It includes information on Accelerated Reading, spelling, online homework and more. I’m sure the children will have a successful and enjoyable year.
Y3 enjoyed a wonderful Prehistory day at Durham University. The children analysed primary sources from the Stone Age, completed an exciting gallery trail and produced Iron Age emblems by metal embossing.
Everyone had a great day, while it was also lovely to take in a few of the sites like Durham Cathedral!
