LiveSimply Award

The LiveSimply Award is an opportunity for Catholic communities - parishes, schools, religious orders and chaplaincies - to respond to Pope Francis’ invitation in Laudato Si' to “work with generosity and tenderness in protecting this world which God has entrusted to us.”

As a school community, we are on a journey with Christ towards achieving the LiveSimply Award.

We are answering the call from Pope Francis to care for creation by completing CAFOD's Live Simply Award. CAFOD stands for the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development. We will be working together to complete nine actions across our school, local and global communities. Our journey will be underpinned by the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.

We have made a special promise to live simply, live sustainably and live in solidarity with the world’s poorest communities.

The animation below helps pupils to understand why LiveSimply is important, and the impact it can have on themselves, our neighbours and our global community.

Our Choir Shines at the Salvation Army Event!

3rd December 2025 By katiedixon

We had the incredible privilege of performing at the Salvation Army, and what a memorable afternoon it was! The children sang beautifully, filling the room with joy and warmth. Their voices were full of energy and harmony, and they truly touched everyone’s hearts.

We couldn’t be prouder of these talented young singers. Their dedication and enthusiasm made the event extra special, and they represented our community wonderfully. A huge thank you to the Salvation Army for hosting us and to all the families who came to support.

This was more than just a performance—it was a celebration of music, teamwork, and the spirit of giving. Bravo to our amazing choir!
