Golden Presentation For Cross Country Stars!

Today in a special assembly, 42 of our children were presented with their golden South Tyneside Team Cross Country Champions medals!

It was wonderful to have so many boys and girls representing our school in a single event. Our children showed incredible energy to support their friends and amazing consistency of high-level performances from Year 3 right through to Year 6.

Our young athletes, showed great dedication to train for the competition, where everyone strived for personal best performances on the day. We had 3 individual District Champions, multiple podium finishers and remarkably 5 different year group team champions; ultimately everyone contributed so much to our collective team.

Personally, I was so proud of how everyone relentlessly supported each other and hopefully they will now inspire our younger children to get running in the future.
