Our Year 5 Mini Police officers had an exciting outing this term. They travelled in real police vans and took part in a patrol along the seafront, helping them experience what it’s like to be out on duty.
The children then visited the Police Marine Unit, where they met specialist officers, explored the dive training facilities and had the opportunity to see the police boats up close.
It was a fantastic hands-on experience that gave pupils a real insight into different areas of policing and inspired lots of thoughtful questions.
Well done, Mini Police!
