Our school enjoyed a wonderful Cricket day to start our term in partnership with Durham CC and South Shields CC. Laura Trotter who represents Durham Cricket Academy delivered an inspiring assembly, before providing coaching for all classes from Y1-Y6 throughout the day.

At the end of the day, Miss Trotter handed out flyers alongside South Shields chairman Patrick Powlett advertising fantastic cricket opportunities this summer at our local club. The children had a great day experiencing cricket in the sunshine; thank you to Laura and Patrick!
